Educate the community about the very serious dangers of driving while distracted. We will forever change the perception of distracted driving. To do so, we must educate drivers about what these distractions are and the unacceptable risks they create.

I promise never to read, write or send messages using any handheld device while operating a motor vehicle because I understand that it puts my life, passengers in my vehicle, and the lives of others on the road at risk for harmful injury and/or death.

Lend a hand and take a stand. As concerned and dedicated volunteers, Take a STANDD seeks to unite the community in combating this rising threat to public safety. We strive to reduce the occurrence of distracted driving.

Ours is a goal that Take a STANDDs for something.

An informed public creates an empowered one. Make a Promise means more than the words you read and agree to. It means altering you own behavior in a decisive, disciplined and determined manner. It means passing on your due diligence and empowering others through your actions… not just your words.
